Recycling polymers into sustainable future

One of the largest polymer recycling companies in Northern Europe, producing high-grade flakes and pellets

History

Since 2003, Iterum has been operating as the only polyethylene terephthalate (PET) recycling plant in Latvia and since 2009 as the leading plant in the Baltic States. We continuously invest in plant and technology development to increase production capacity and develop new, high-quality products. We are now one of the largest polymer recyclers in Northern Europe, bringing together industry expertise, technology and a development-led approach.

In 2010, Eco Baltia, the largest environmental resource management and recycling group in the Baltic States, acquired Iterum, thereby providing full-cycle waste management services from collection to recycling.

In September 2022, Iterum broadened its international presence by acquiring TESIL Fibres, a leading Czech producer of polyester fibers that incorporates recycled PET flakes into its manufacturing process.
