Liene Upeniece, former member of the board and financial director, has left the company. At the same time, former chair of the board J\u016blija Zandersone has been officially appointed as a member of the ITERUM council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The changes have been implemented as part of ongoing efforts to streamline the company&#8217;s processes, strengthen its management and ensure sustainable growth. From November 19, the board will continue its work with two members \u2013 board chair Andris \u0100bele and long-time board member Jekaterina Vasi\u013cjeva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Andris \u0100bele<\/strong>, <strong>Chairman of the Board of JSC ITERUM<\/strong>: <em>The changes in the management structure are the next step in implementing our strategy \u2013 simpler processes, higher efficiency, and clearer accountability. I wish L. Upeniece new professional success. At the same time, I am delighted that J\u016blija Zandersone has joined the board \u2014 her experience and strategic vision will help to accelerate the modernization of the production facility and the development of the company.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the appointment of J\u016blija Zandersone to the board, ITERUM is supplementing its supervisory and strategic management competencies with a targeted focus on production efficiency and cooperation with strategic partners in order to strengthen and accelerate the company&#8217;s development.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About ITERUM<\/strong><br><em>ITERUM is one of the largest polyethylene terephthalate (PET) recycling companies in Northern Europe and the largest PET recycling company in the Baltic region. It is owned by the environmental resource management group Eco Baltia. ITERUM recycles used PET bottles and is the industry leader in Northern Europe.
